·     Currently studying the workings of museums and galleries, focussing on learning within the museum environment, curation and the purpose of museums in modern day society
·     The course is collaborated with the V&A, The National Maritime Museum, Kingston Museum and the Museum of London
·     Produced research statement for the event ‘Night time at the Maritime’ at the National Maritime Museum, demonstrating how different age groups can value from multisensory learning
·     Exhibition at the V&A suggesting new items to introduce into the Rapid Response Collecting room

Kingston University in collaboration with the V&A - Jan 2015 
Head of Social Media | London, UK                                                             
·     Conducted the social media campaign for Kingston University’s Rapid Response seminar at the    V&A
·     Included setting up and running a Facebook, Instagram and Twitter page for the University
·     Promoted the event with daily updates on all social media pages

Excavating Art in collaboration with Quay Crafts - March 2015

·     Managed the Kingston University social media team for the exhibition Excavating Art

·     Learnt the basic skills needed in order to catalogue and box museum items, including data entry, in accordance with established guidelines
·     This proved to be an important skill to develop, as it became clear to me how crucial it is to catalogue and store artifacts correctly

Farnham Museum - Summer 2013

·     Worked as Archaeological Archiving Assistant
·     Conducted a research project into how to conserve archaeological material, focusing on how best to change the current conditions in the archaeological archive
·     Looked into the changes needed to prevent damp and mould
·     Demonstrated computer literacy, research and time management skills and an interest and understanding in the preservation of archaeological material.

Archaeological Dig - Summer 2012                                                     
Garne Turne, Pembrokeshire
·     This dig involved investigating the possibility of an excavation of a dolmen, an ancient burial site.
·     Developed different methods of excavation and the various ways of recording and collecting finds.
·     Improved knowledge of different burial sites and the reason why a community may choose a certain site.

·     This enabled me to work closely with others and see first-hand the variety of work within a large organisation.

Knight Frank LLP - Summer 2011

·     Assisted with the updating of the firm’s interactive website.
·     Gained knowledge about the intricacies of website design.
·     Enhanced IT skills and gave me further experience using Photoshop.
·     Set up training courses for Knight Frank Africa branch. These training courses involved teaching the Knight Frank Africa branch how to use the Knight Frank database. This task improved my time management and leadership qualities.
·     Demonstrated myself as a confident communicator and strengthened interpersonal skills.

Archaeological Dig - Summer 2010   
Syon House, Surrey                                                                                                                                                             
·     Attended a dig organised by Birkbeck College, University of London. This included excavation of a monastery dated back to Henry VIII’s time.
·     Learnt new skills in relation to excavation and the importance of documenting findings.
·     Expanded on my research skills delving deep into the history and archaeological relevance of the Tudor period.

INTERESTS, ACHIEVEMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

·     Extended Project Qualification, designed and created a garment with analysis and presentation on medieval embellishment (A*) (2010).
·     School prefect, with duties such as communicating with teachers, organising group events and offering a support network for younger pupils (2010-2011)
·     Curated an exhibition as part of the African Research module during the final year of my degree. This exhibition was displayed in the Manchester Museum. This involved both group and research work.
·     Interests include film, fashion, art, travelling, visiting museums and blogging. My studies in Archaeology and Anthropology have encouraged me to explore museums, taking note of the talent that is required to depict a culture while still inspiring the interest of visitors.
