Savage Beauty

A belated post praising the extravagant and enthralling exhibition 'Savage Beauty' at the V&A. 

I am sure many of you have already been lucky enough to visit this display. Upon entry visitors are transported into the mind of Alexander McQueen. It is both disturbing and captivating. The exhibition draws the visitors attention to the numerous works and achievements of Alexander McQueen while presenting the visitor with the fashion designers internal turmoil and unrest.

The design and layout of each room is different, using lighting, wallpaper, sound and digital imagery to manifest the bizarre and tortured mind of Alexander McQueen. The exhibition is open until early August, so if you have not been able to visit yet make sure you do before it closes or you'll be sure to miss out!
