London Fashion Week Blues

Wednesday 24 September 2014

Are you a great lover of fashion? If so, were you lucky enough to check out London Fashion Week?

One of the main perks of London Fashion Week is being able to have a sneak peak at the new up and coming styles and designers on the runway. On arrival, guests are presented with a Lulu Guinness tote bag filled with goodies to help get you through the dreaded winter months.

Each tote bag included make up wipes, a food voucher, coffee, an essie nail varnish, eye drops, shine spray, eye mascara and a Hello! fashion magazine.
I checked out the 'Trend' runway. This catwalk displayed four different crazes, One and Only, Candy Crush, Jungle Fever and Fairy Tale Ending. Each trend displayed wearable items designed by the likes of Acne Studios, Alexander Wang and Roberto Cavalli, all of which were on sale to the public backstage. Below are some of my favourite items from the catwalk.

However, if you can't see yourself being fully entertained by the catwalk never fear as London Fashion Week has far more to offer than just the catwalk shows. Pop-up restaurants were also on site, with special London Fashion Week cocktails designed specifically for the event.

We enjoyed a bottle of Prosecco and a nice big bowl of pappardelle. If this still hasn't tickled your fancy there are dozens of designer clothing stalls selling fabulously fashionable style steals!

After all, Life's too short to wear bad clothes!

If you weren't able to visit London Fashion Week this year I would highly recommend putting it on your bucket list! It's a great way to spend the weekend with your girlfriends and there's absolutely no chance of boredom being on the cards!
