Sonia Delaunay

Sonia Delaunay's abstract art is officially on display at the Tate Modern!

Sonia was a woman way ahead of her time! She was a prominent artist and designer in the early twentieth century who used bold colour and shapes to reflect movement, technology and urban life. Her work is unmissable and at times seems to have been inspired by Paul Klee's art. Head over to the Tate Modern to find out more about this inspiring artist's and designer's work and life. It is a impressive display of all of Delaunay's best pieces. Don't miss out! Her multi-textile work is exciting and demonstrates how using more than one medium can create so much more depth to art.
